As it gets closer to the end of the school year, many exciting events are coming up. Many people in the Hornet community are buzzing around trying to find dresses, suits, and flowers for prom coming up on May 4th. Heyworth students are excited for prom with voting out until last Wednesday. Students got to pick 4 senior boys and 4 senior girls they thought would be a good fit for 2024’s Prom court. Voting ended Wednesday, and the candidates came out Thursday morning. Congratulations Meg Carlton, Macie Toeple, Carsyn Langellier, Sage Ellis, Tyler Wills, Nathanael Lopez, Nathaniel Roehrig, and Alex Maas.
Prom ticket sales will start before school on Wednesday, April 24. Prices are $25 for one ticket or $50 for two tickets. Ewing Manor will NOT be open as a place for prom photos this year, because there is an event scheduled.
Prom will be on May 4th at the Miller Park Pavilion, with a theme of Masquerade. The dance will start at 7:30 PM and then After Prom will follow.
