Musical Review

The Heyworth yearly Musical took place this past weekend. "Once Upon a Mattress" is a twist on the fairytale “The Princess and The Pea.” In “Once Upon a Mattress” the characters tend to be more vibrant than the simpler archetypes in "The Princess and the Pea” such as Princess Winnifred is more bold which is quite different from the normal princess stereotypes. Another big difference would be the fact that within the story the queen is the one that is sabotaging her son's chance at getting a bride so she can keep her control over the kingdom and her mute husband. Our musical cast and crew overall put a ton of effort into the production of this musical. It was very entertaining and fun to watch as the plot really drew you in.
