This December there is a winterfest sports tournament being held by the Heyworth High School Student Council. There will be dodgeball and volleyball tournaments along with food, Drinks, and music. The Winterfest dodgeball and volleyball tournaments will be held in both of the gyms. The Dodgeball tournament will be held in the Donna Knapp Memorial Gym and the volleyball tournament will be held in the new gym on December 15th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Students will need to form teams for both events made up of their friends and peers. They will compete in double elimination tournament-style gameplay where they play for bragging rights. Students tend to take this event more seriously among their friends and friend groups as the winning team gets to hold it against the others until next year's competition. It's a great time to get out with your friends while having some friendly competition before finals week.
