On Friday, February 16th, at Heyworth High School, the HHS Boys Basketball team will be taking on the mustangs of Ridgeview High School. JV plays at 5:30pm and Varsity plays at 7pm. This is the last home game of the season and also Senior night so make sure you come out to support. Also, at the game the Heyworth Cheer team will be putting on a teacher-cheerleader dance during halftime. The cheerleaders have been working hard on their dances and putting finishing touches to start practicing with the teachers. Not only coming will help you support your school but it will also get students 5 points of extra credit in any of Mr. Kirkton’s classes.
Along with these fun events happening on Friday night, there will be a Spain trip fundraiser, hosted by Mrs. Bonnell (the Spanish teacher at Heyworth High school) and the kids going on the Spain trip in 2025. There will be tacos, rice and beans. The prices will vary on what you order. Come out and support HHS on Friday night.
