Happy Holidays! The days are closing in on Christmas…and also birthdays for some. But is having a birthday so close to Christmas a good thing or bad? Well, we're about to find out! Birthdays so close to arguably the biggest holidays of the year can always be a challenge, getting birthday and Christmas gifts, shopping, and creating different lists for each. Maybe for some that could just mean more presents on their special day, for others it could mean combining both days into one.
The pros most people would assume to their birthday being so close would be being able to celebrate both special days of the year with friends and family. Especially if you have friends or family that live farther away, and can’t always make it to a birthday party in the middle of the year.
The cons are that most people who do have birthdays so close to Christmas actually can barely have people over because all their friends and family might be busy with other Christmas parties that they have to attend. Or they are traveling for the holidays to visit family that they cannot see very often. And when getting gifts it might just be combined with Christmas depending on how close your birthday could be.
So, with the pros and cons of knowing each side. Which side would you choose to be on? The side that experiences the best joys in having two days or being forced to share days with the biggest holidays of the year.
