Fresh-Soph Wrestling

The trip to Clinton was a big deal for the Heyworth wrestling team’s freshmen and sophomores. It wasn't just about wrestling, it was the real test of their skills and determination. After a long day of matches, three of our wrestlers came on top and placed top 4 in their bracket. Haley Richter, Trevor Soice, and Jarrod Fulcher. They proved themselves by qualifying for the Sectionals. This week they’re gearing up for even more action on Sunday right here in Heyworth. The wrestlers have been working extremely hard this week to make sure they place in their brackets this week. Everyone is pumped to see how they do and cheer them on.
