Basketball Post Season Predictions

This past Monday we started regionals for our Heyworth Boys team. Our boys played Grace Christian Academy Crusaders and came out with a win 96-55, our boys will advance to the next round on Wednesday 2/21. I interviewed two of our seniors, Tyler Bartels and Alex Maas. The following questions we asked the two seniors were, "How far do you think we will make it in regionals?" Tyler Bartels said, “I think we are going to win regionals, advance to sectionals, then hopefully to state.” Alex's response was “We’ll win the regional championship.” The next question was how do you feel about the first round of regionals, was it tough or easy? Tyler said, “The first round went well, everyone played well and we played together as a team.” Alex said “It was easy” The final question was "Do you think there is a team that will be hard to beat, if so what team?” Tyler said “Every team from here on out is going to be good competition, so if I had to say a team, Flanagan and St Anne is on the other side of our regional. Whichever one we see, they will be tough to beat.” However, Alex said, “Nobody.” The boys' basketball team is very confident about their post-season results and hopefully, they will make it as strong and as far as they hope to.
